Nominations Process

1. Entry for all categories is free of charge. Anyone is eligible to make a nomination for any Award (see point 1.6 for exception).

1.1. All entries as well as supporting documents must be submitted directly via the Awards website.

1.2. Entries for the Covid-19 Outbreak Special Response category must be received by 5.00pm BST on Friday 16th October 2020 unless otherwise stated in writing. In exceptional circumstances, the deadline for submission may be extended.

1.3. The Awards are open to risk managers employed by, and businesses who have provided services to, corporations with European offices (including the UK) from January 2018.

1.4. Entries must be supported by a maximum 1000-word entry description stating why the nominee should be considered of the Award, based on the outlined criteria. A single PDF or Word document of supporting material such as diagrams and illustrations may accompany the entry, maximum length of this document should be 4 x A4 pages.

1.5. Each entry will be judged and scored based on i. The relevance of the entry with the individual criteria outlined ii. The quality of the overall entry iii. The presentation of the entry ensuring that it is clear, concise and compelling.

1.6. A sponsor of the Awards cannot enter themselves for an Award in the specific category that they are sponsoring.

1.7. Each category has different criteria requirements - please see individual Award categories for specific rules.

1.8. The comments made on your application form should be accurate to the best of your knowledge.

1.9. The judges are independent and free from any commercial interest in the Awards programme or the success of the firms entering the Awards programme.

1.10. The organisers and judges reserve the right to move your application to another category or to add the application to another category if they deem it relevant.

1.11. Risk managers and firms may enter more than one category. Each entry must be submitted via the portal.

1.12. The information contained within entries will remain confidential to the Awards organisers and the judging panel.
